The first several books of the Bible mention the existence of giants and the word “Nephilim” is used in an off-hand manner in Genesis. The book of Enoch, which is not considered an accepted Biblical tomb gives the most information concerning the Watchers and their offspring called the Nephilim or the giants. Even though they appear after the flood, I believe God intended to erase their existence with the flood. Apparently one member of the Noah group contained a remnant of Nephilim DNA. It was obviously not Shem, since Jesus was descended from him, but exactly who is not known.
