We have seen it on TV, movies and read about it in books.
Spooks, ghosts, demons (which are all one in the same) attaching themselves to inanimate objects.
For example…
- Houses
- Cars
- Dolls
- Figurines / Statues
- Occult items like – Ouija boards, Tarrot Cards, Crystal Balls, etc
And the list goes on.
I have had a large number of emails asking me if demons can possess / inhabit / haunt inanimate objects.
In my research I have not been able to find any biblical support to the idea that demons can attach themselves to physical objects, except for one instance, that is the “Statue of the Beast” that is mentioned in Revelation 13:15
Revelation 13:15 “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”
What we see here in this verse is that the statue will be made to look “alive.” Scripture is not clear if this is demonic or is it some sort of Audio-Animatronics (the figures that move, talk and such at Disneyland).
There is another issue that is brought up in scripture that we find in Deuteronomy.
Deuteronomy 7: 25 – 26 “ The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold [that is] on them, nor take [it] unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it [is] an abomination to the LORD thy God.
26 Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: [but] thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it [is] a cursed thing.”
As I have stated in prior articles, it is my experience / belief that having occult items in your home gives the enemy a doorway / portal into your home thus affecting your life and the lives of your family.
Why does God state this unless demons / evil spirits can inhabit / use / or possess such inanimate objects?

Pray God Provide For Our Needs
Well, as you know I was trying to get a job at Walmart in their loss prevention area. I have talked to the Asst Manager a number of times but have not gotten called by the primary manager.
Even though I persist, I am still not getting called in.
I have applied for an inspector’s job that will also allow me time to work at the ministry. This seems like it would be a good fit and I hope that this may come to fruition.
In the mean time I ask that you please pray that God provide for our needs.

Ray Gano on Roku
I am working at setting up a home TV set (organizing my office) where I can produce better quality more professional You Tube videos. I am also working on creating a Roku channel. I have had a number of ministries tell me that they have done really well on Roku. I have a message that I need to get out there and the more eyeballs the better.
I need to pay $200 to Vimeo for their professional channel. This will allow me to upload any size video as well as many videos I want and not have any streaming limitations.
I then have to pay $50 a month to this company that will manage my Roku channel menu screens. There is a lot of CSS coding, or something like that involved in creating and maintaining these menus. Ever time you upload a show a new slot needs to be created and linked in so that people can “browse” your channel.
Once I have the Vimeo and Instant TV menus, I can link it into Roku and “Volla” I have dedicated Roku channel.
NOW, here is the exciting thing. Once I have a dedicated Roku channel there is a good chance that other ministries will pick up my show and put it on their channel as well.
So please pray that God provide the resources to get everything we need to pull this off. I have all the basics that I need, camera, tripod, microphone, but I am sure that once I start I will discover more things that I will need in producing a TV show.
